“On behalf of the Newark Police Department, PAPA, and the IBID I would like to thank the Ironbound banks and churches who are helping us collect the coats and toys, and urge the Ironbound community to help us bring some comfort and cheer during the holiday season to children and families in need,” said Detective Michael Silva, who is coordinating the effort in the Ironbound along with Aurelio Silva, President of PAPA.
