IBID Donated Netbook Computer to Winner of Rubby Ducky Race to Support Program at Ironbound’s Riverbank Park

NEWARK, N.J., September 28, 2010 – Helen Tomczyk, a member of the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of the Ironbound’s Senior Citizen Club, was the owner of the winning Rubber Ducky in the annual Rubber Ducky Race on the Passaic River between Somme and Van Buren Streets to benefit continued renovation of the Ironbound’s Riverbank Park. Tomczyk received a NETBOOK computer donated by the Ironbound Business Improvement District (IBID) to support the program sponsored by SPARKS Friends of Riverbank Park.

“I’m very excited about efforts to fix the Riverbank Park and I’m going to give the NETBOOK to my grandson who has epilepsy,” noted Tomczyk.
